Magic est une lampe développée par l’Agence 360 pour KOS lighting. Composée d’une platine carrée intégrant des LEDs, et perchée sur un fin pied métallique rappelant son socle, elle peut être orientée dans de multiples positions.
« Notre travail pour Kos Lighting est entièrement dédié à la qualité de l’éclairage, des mouvements de la lampe et sa durabilité. Nous concevons le système d’articulation optimal pour permettre d’orienter la lumière sans frictions avec un minimum d’effets [...] La discrétion du design exprime ce que sont ces produits : des outils d’éclairage. »

Conducted by a group of Canadian design students, archiDUTCH is a 19-minute documentary about how the Dutch build and design the cities we live in, including a collection of interviews of Dutch architects and designers. The footage was shot and edited by first-time student filmmakers from Simon Fraser University’s Interactive Art and Technology program. OMA‘s Reinier de Graaf, Inside Outside‘s Petra Blaisse, and MVRDV‘s Jacob van Rijs (along with dutch model maker Vincent de Rijk) comment on the Dutch point of view of designing for the architectural and urban scale, both in the Netherlands and worldwide in this film. Simon Gill Architects completed the fishing lodge at Batak, Bulgaria, in the summer of 2012. The 290 m2 building is divided into two sections with one half of the house built into the hillside and the other rising above ground in an insulated tower-like volume. The secluded house overlooks a large beautiful lake with vast forests lying close behind.
