Outdoor spaces are such a great opportunity to enjoy the weather without having to get out and do much. An upstairs balcony can even be an amazing oasis away from all of the noise, stresses and prying eyes that are happening elsewhere. While most balconies are on the smaller side, it can be a tough thing to determine what would look best while simultaneously suiting your style.

From the lush greenscaped settings to a more modern, clean contemporary look– any space can be taken to a new height...

There’s no two things more exciting than trying a new restaurant in your neighborhood. Obviously the cuisine and menu are first up on the list, but oftentimes the decor and ambiance are a huge factor in the first impression. ‘Barbatella’ in Naples, Florida is a rustic contemporary Italian kitchen that reflects the same image on the interior.

While Barbatella has a dining room that’s just as rustic as a Tuscan villa, there’s another portion to this plan that’s almost completely opposite...

Renowned architect Richard Neutra has left a huge legacy behind across the country– with a huge majority of his works being throughout California. One of his Hollywood Hills residences titled “Bonnet House” has had its interior designed by the premier Los Angeles team of Woodson & Rummerfield’s House of Design.

While their typical style evokes a whole lot of style and personality, Ron and Jaime kept their versatility in line with this 1940s gem by none other than Neutra. Neutra was...

Chandeliers that create amazingly detailed shadows on every surface imaginable make such a huge impact within spaces that it eliminates the need for much else in the way of decor. These showstoppers titled ‘Ballroom Luminoso’ really make a room a work of art, and this art installation in San Antonio, Texas, featured six of these four foot wide metal based hanging chandeliers.

Crafted by Joe O’Connell + Blessing Hancock Public Art, these globes were all transformed from upcycled bike parts...

Loft spaces are always a beautiful addition to any property, and this Chilean built loft is a nice little contemporary gem tucked away into the lush hills of the countryside. Titled “Lo Curro,” this Matias Silva built home is built of concrete block, wood and steel. The home itself is 1,500 square feet with an expansive patio for lounging and sunset viewing.

The interior is a cozy mixture of dark colors, leather seating and warm woods. The entire plan is open, with half height walls through...

What's that? Am I stalking the supernatural? A fleeting shadow? A ghostly apparition? A stencil on the wall? A cute and clever touch to a very narrow side passageway where not much will grow but a bare block wall is just a little too stark. A modern extension to an historic terrace in Fitzroy North, Melbourne. Link here while it lasts.
